USC Spotlight
Our Mission
To protect and improve water quality and natural resources in the Upper Susquehanna River Basin with the involvement of citizens and agencies through planning, education, coordination, funding, project implementation and advocating for our water resources.
We strive to accomplish our mission through a team approach, with teams focused on key watershed-wide efforts working both independently and collaboratively to meet our goals.
USC Youtube Video Highlight
Watershed Wednesdays offers watershed-related webinars in a mini-session series, each of which is then shared on our YouTube channel. This session provides an overview of the Finger Lakes Partnership for Regional Invasive Species, a program that leverages a wide network of stakeholders to address invasive species in the Finger Lakes Region. Spotted lanternfly poses a particular threat to the Finger Lakes region. This presentation provides an overview of those regional threats, the implications for the rest of the region (including the Upper Susquehanna), and how Finger Lakes PRISM addresses SLF.
